ACCION San Diego's Volunteer Program

ACCION San Diego’s volunteer program is project based and therefore opportunities are irregular and depend on the current needs of the organization.  

Common volunteer opportunities that arise include:

• Event Registration

• Writing newsletter and blog articles

• Client Interviews

• Call Nights- Calling clients to inquire about their ACCION experience

• Tabling for ACCION at an event

• Banker outreach

• Office Administration Projects

• Other special projects that arise as needed

How to volunteer for specific opportunities?

The first step to becoming a volunteer is to apply.  Please email the Marketing and Resource Manager at jlee@accionsandiego.org to apply.  Once you've been accepted into our volunteer program, you will recieve monthly emails outlining all known upcoming opportunities.

Suggesting a special volunteer project:

We also acknowledge the vast array of skills and experience that our volunteers bring to the organization.  We sometimes create special volunteer projects based on the unique talents of an individual.  If you have any ideas for how your experience could benefit the organization, please email jlee@accionsandiego.org and let us know!
