By providing access to credit and technical assistance to micro-entrepreneurs, ACCION San Diego supports families and builds the economic foundation of our communities through self-employment. Our program operates with the generosity and support from charitable organizations and individuals, such as yourself, dedicated to the mission of micro-enterprise development. Small businesses are an essential part of California’s regional economy, comprising over 90% of businesses and providing almost 20% of local jobs. These vibrant businesses many of which are owned by low-to-moderate income individuals, contribute to the community’s rich ethnic diversity and character, maintaining the spirit of our local communities. ACCION San Diego understands the importance of supporting this underserved population and has successfully helped over 1,300 small business owners. We continue to grow annually and currently serve over 400 clients.
